My Design Process

To design and develop effective learning solutions, I use a detail-oriented approach with several iterative rounds for each step.

Analyze

Before a kick-off meeting, I conduct research about business pain points, problems, and challenges and determine stakeholders that can provide insight.

I conduct a kick-off meeting to create an action plan and timeline for designing, developing, delivering, and implementing learning solutions.

Design

I create a design proposal to share with stakeholders to align on learning solutions that are customized to solve the business pain points, problems, and challenges and change employee behaviors to close performance gaps and improve organization performance and culture.

Develop

Once proposal is approved, I develop learning solutions and deliverables.  This is an iterative process, which includes frequent feedback from stakeholders during the development cycle to ensure learning objectives and assessments align with business goals and provide solutions to pain points, problems, and challenges.

Implement

I conduct quality assurance on deliverables and learning solutions to ensure high quality, functionality, accessibility, and content accuracy.

I handoff deliverables and learning solutions to business/client for implementation or I implement, facilitate, or maintain learning solutions.

Evaluate

I collect and analyze available data to gather information about how learners used training materials and problems that arose. I analyze data and collaborate with business/client to determine effectiveness of learning solutions and discuss changes needed.

Repeat Process

I revise or redevelop learning solutions as needed, based on data analysis and insights gathered from business/client during implementation and evaluation.
